Earthquake & The Gathering Tank

Hope everyone on the east coast survived the earthquake yesterday! We had a little bit of damage at home but not too bad. Just a few things broke here an there and some pictures out of place but no big deal.

The good news is, the wine did not break! It just slid out of the rack

It was a little crazy in D.C. area. I went to return something at J.crew in tysons after work and it was a ghost town! It looked like some of the SA's were going home too.

I got the Gathering Tank last Tuesday but I guess I forgot to post about it!

Here it is in the green color. I knew I had to have it when I saw it online! Tho, I don't see the green online anymore but you can still get the white, lilac, and turquoise. I'm wearing XS - I would suggest sizing down one size in Deletta tops. the lilac and white, probably need to be worn with a tank top underneath, it's a little sheer.

Love this top! So easy to waer and comfy!

Purple Dress, 20% Off + New Stuff!

Looking for a dress for a wedding in few weeks, I tried on this new purple dress while in the Tysons Corner J.Crew store today. Not sure what it's called. I don't see it on line. It was light fluffy, probably made of some kind of chiffon. It has a side zip and ties a bow in the back. I tried on size 2, so I think it's running TTS. I tucked in straps here because I think it looks better but its probably meant to be worn with the straps. The purple is just ridiculously beautiful. I wished it was a little more structured, so I'm still deciding.

Here are the things I picked up while in store today....the sa's were nice enough to let me use 20% off even though the coupon says online only. Not only that, they didn't take my code, they just used a 20% barcode from their little book. That means I can order more stuff before next weeks! Eeek!

I Didn't Get to Wear This Sunday

I picked up this dress at South Moon Under last week. I love, love the colors, and the pattern. It's one of those never have to iron dresses so I knew it was perfect for me. I didn't have a chance to wear it over the weekend so what the heck - I thought i'd wear it on a Monday, bare sleeves n' all hahahaha! Corporate dress code? What's that?

Loving At Ann Taylor

I was strolling through Clarendon killing time last week and noticed that Ann Taylor - the regular store had opened, right across from the Ann Taylor Loft which is odd, no? Why go to the more expensive one when the cheaper version is across the way? I went in to the new store and thought WOAH MAN!

I use to do tagalong shopping there when I'd go with my mom during high school and college but always thought - eh someday when I'm an adult. But man, have they upped their game.

As I approach my super duper early thirties, I could totally see myself rocking the items in this store. It's totally age appropriate for mid twenties too. Alot of it now reminds of me of BCBG mixed with JCrew which has sort of been my style.

Super cute, conservative, with a smidge of sexy.
